No Scrub Stove Cleaning HackNick Strite
I don’t know about you but I prefer a good gas stove. While I love my gas stove there still is the grime that can gather on and around them. After all, heat and reheating food particles find their way to stick to your burners and no amount of scrubbing will help. We have found a solution from thevspotblog.com that will help you in this time of clean need:
All you need is a gallon freezer bag and a ¼ cup of ammonia per burner. To start, seal up one of the burners and the ammonia in the bag.
The goal here is to not saturate the bag but seal it with the ammonia fumes.
Leave them out on a cookie sheet overnight. (I prefer outside just in case the bags spring a leak or you have pets like I do.) The fumes from the ammonia will work their magic by dissolving grease and oil and the next day you can wipe it clean with a sponge.
It’s pretty spectacular what a little ammonia will do. In some cases, this may need to be repeated if they’re extra dirty. If you have extra large burners buy extra large bags. This will save you time and money on premium cleaners from the store. I hope you enjoyed this little tutorial, for more please visit the link below and check out our blog and social media.
